ARTstor

To use this resource, you must be logged in to the University of Connecticut network or University of Connecticut VPN. Access to licensed research databases and electronic journals is limited to current University of Connecticut students, faculty, and staff.
Over 500,000 high-resolution art and architecture images, for educational (non-commercial) use. Includes architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design as well as many other forms of visual culture.
ARTstor works with UConn's VPN for off-campus access but only if you run the VPN's "Network Connect" application before connecting to ARTstor.

Or, you can registered for a password while on campus and then log in from off campus by going directly to www.artstor.org. The password expires after 120 days. Contact Michael Young (tel. 860-486-4953) for assistance.

The ARTstor Charter Collection currently contains approximately 500,000 images. Covers artistic traditions across many times and cultures, including architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design as well as many other forms of visual culture.
