To use this resource, you must be logged in to the University of Connecticut network or University of Connecticut VPN. Access to licensed research databases and electronic journals is limited to current University of Connecticut students, faculty, and staff.

Audio access to more than 50,000 tracks that document the history of African American music (e.g., jazz, blues, gospel, spirituals, farming and labor songs, war songs, children’s songs, and more.

The service works on Macs and PCs with a browser and requires no special software.

Audio tracks have permanent URLs that can be incorporated into personal playlists and course folders, syllabi, or digital course reserve.
